On 28th February 2026, a Child Marriage Awareness Program was conducted at the Anganwadi Center in Thekkamalai, Kovilpatti. More than 50 adolescent students participated. Mrs. Nagalakshmi, CEO of Sooriyan Ninaivu Trust, explained the legal marriage age—18 for girls and 21 for boys—and highlighted the physical and psychological risks of early marriage.
